Our Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) Training Course provides the required instruction to apply for a Virginia concealed handgun permit in accordance with Virginia Code §18.2-308.02. This course is designed for first-time applicants and experienced firearm owners seeking a compliant, professional, and legally sound training experience.
This training emphasizes safe firearm handling and responsible ownership, ensuring students understand the technical requirements for carrying a concealed handgun in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Important Notes:
- You must be legally eligible to possess and handle firearms.
- No prior handgun experience is required.
- Course fees cover training only. They do not include any government application or licensing fees, permit fees, fingerprinting fees, range fees, or other third‑party costs.
- Ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection are not provided and must be supplied by you unless your confirmation email states otherwise.
- Ammunition and protective equipment may be available for rental or purchase at the range.
- If you do not have a firearm, one will be supplied at no additional charge.
- If you own a firearm, bring it in safe working condition and transport it in compliance with all applicable laws and range rules.
