Description
Private NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting training offers customized instruction and guidance to assist individuals in enhancing their pistol shooting skills and handling. This Private NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting training program provides numerous benefits and can be tailored to meet the unique requirements of each participant.
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.
Required Equipment/Gear: If you do not have a firearm, no problem, a selection will be supplied during the class at NO additional charge.
If you own a firearm, great. Please bring it along with eye and ear protection (eye and ear protection are available for purchase at the range).
This course includes classroom sessions, a course completion certificate, course materials, and a target.
All students need ammunition and a positive attitude, please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and DO NOT wear open-toed shoes.
