Stay compliant and confident with our NY | DC | MD CCW Training Renewal Course, designed for current permit holders who must meet state-specific renewal or requalification requirements. This course provides a comprehensive refresher on firearm safety, legal updates, use-of-force considerations, and practical marksmanship—ensuring you remain knowledgeable, responsible, and prepared.
This renewal course reinforces core concealed carry principles while addressing recent legal changes, enforcement trends, and best practices for armed citizens. Emphasis is placed on lawful carry, decision-making under stress, and avoiding civil or criminal liability.
Students will review both classroom instruction and live-fire qualification (where required) to meet renewal criteria set by the issuing authorities.
This course is a total of 8 hours and includes in-person live classroom instruction and live-fire training on the gun range.
Each student must demonstrate proficiency by achieving a minimum correct answer score of 80% on a written test covering the course curriculum

Important Notes:
- You must be legally eligible to possess and handle firearms.
- Bring a government‑issued photo ID and all required forms for the states you are applying to.
- Prior handgun experience is required; this course focuses on qualification and includes only a brief review of safety and fundamentals.
- Course fees cover training only. They do not include any government application or licensing fees, permit fees, fingerprinting fees, range fees, or other third‑party costs.
- Ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection are not provided and must be supplied by you unless your course confirmation email states otherwise.
- Ammunition and protective equipment may be available for rental or purchase at the range.
- If you do not have a firearm, one will be provided at no extra charge.
- If you have a firearm, bring it in safe working condition and transport it in compliance with all applicable laws and range rules.
