Our California CCW Permit Training course meets the mandatory 16‑hour minimum training required for California concealed carry permit applicants. It satisfies the state‑required training component and provides the instruction you need to complete the CCW application process.
Please verify that your issuing agency is one of the counties or departments we are currently approved to serve before registering. We are an approved CCW training vendor for the following agencies:
- Contra Costa County
- Yuba County Sheriff’s Office
- Concord Police Department (CPD)
- Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)
- Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office – A psychological examination may also be required.
- Richmond Police Department (RPD) – A psychological examination may also be required.
Approval for other counties is pending. Contact us to confirm whether we are approved for your county before enrolling.
This course is for individuals seeking professional, county‑compliant CCW training from an approved California instructor.

Non‑Resident Applications
Residents of U.S. states and territories other than California may apply for a California CCW license under Penal Code sections 26150 through 26235 only if they are both:

Members at the time of submission to one of the following groups:
(a) The California Rifle & Pistol Association, Incorporated
(b) Gun Owners of America, Inc.
(c) Gun Owners of California, Inc.
(d) The Second Amendment Foundation and -
Not otherwise prohibited from possessing firearms under federal or California law and legally eligible to own, purchase, and possess a concealable firearm.

- Course fees cover training only. They do not include any government application or licensing fees, permit fees, fingerprinting fees, range fees, or other third‑party costs.
- Ammunition, eye protection, and ear protection are not provided. You must supply them yourself.
- Bring your own handgun and sufficient ammunition. Firearms are not provided.
- Ensure your firearm is in safe working condition and transported in compliance with all applicable laws and range rules.
